Class
Description
Fitting a woman with a breast prosthesis after
breast surgery involves more than just taking
measurements. Taught by a breast cancer survivor,
our Breastcare Fitter Training Class emphasizes
the importance of a correct fitting bra and breast
form and creating a comfortable atmosphere for
your customer. The class entails a comprehensive
review of all Naturalwear postmastectomy products,
including bras, breast forms and accessories.
You will learn how to measure a customer and then
properly fit her with a bra and breast form.
In
addition to step-by-step fitting instruction,
the course content includes:
•
History of postmastectomy products
|
•
Surgery Types |
| •
Basic breast anatomy |
•
Inventory Suggestions |
| •
Breast cancer statistics |
•
Marketing Resources |
The
last portion of the class will allow you to practice
the measuring and fitting skills you just learned.
You will fit on the instructor (a breast cancer
survivor) and/or mannequins. To receive ABC or
BOC PCE's you must complete and return a multiple
choice test to Trulife. The test can be completed
on-site or returned to Trulife within 30 days
of the class date.

training materials, Trulife Breastcare Fitter
